News Story: Regional Care Group CEO Receives Doctorate Degree

The inaugural gala spotlights the importance of community involvement in mental health services and whole-person care.
MERRILLVILLE, IN – Regional Care Group will host the “All That Jazz! Celebrating the Unity of Community” gala to raise funds for local housing needs at Lake Park Residential Care. The event is Friday, June 16, 2023, at 6 p.m. at Avalon Manor Banquet Center in Merrillville. A special VIP reception begins at 5 p.m.
Event guests will enjoy festivities including dinner with a special presentation, live music by Will Miller and the Jazzgang, an open bar with hors d’oeuvres, DJ and dancing. Guests will also hear featured speaker State Senator Eddie D. Melton’s words of encouragement, discussing what it truly means to celebrate “The Unity of Community.”
“Regional Care Group, through its corporate entities, works to provide essential health care and social services for the communities we collectively serve,” said Regional Care Group CEO Bill Trowbridge. “The gala highlights the services Regional Care Group provides to the community and emphasizes what our community can do to be connected.”
Lake Park Residential Care is a Regional Care Group member providing structured and sustained support, long-term mental health care and residential housing for homeless and low-income adults with severe mental health issues. Lake Park is one of two remaining facilities of its kind in Lake County, and one of 24 in Indiana. Proceeds benefit the facility’s room, board and assistance program.
